BACKPAGE EXPANDS TO INCLUDE OVER 400 CITIES, REGIONS

I'm proud to announce that we've finally crossed the 400 site threshold. Backpage.com is now available to users from New York to Los Angeles, Tijuana to Toronto, Washington D.C. to Washington State, Hawaii to Nova Scotia, the deserts of the Southwest to the marshes of the Southeast and everything in between.

We're not stopping there, though. We already have hundreds of more sites planned, including more international sites! It's a big world out there, so we still have a long way to go. Try telling me that you can't get rid of that piece of crap couch now, pal.

Stay tuned and, of course, feel free to let me know where you'd like to see the next Backpage site pop up!

  1. I love hearing about people succeeding. I also like seeing somebody like Carl who is carving out a niche and producing a classified directory for the local search market which is far superior to the other one. ;)

  4. The listings are easy to set up and look good. However, the responses have been minimal to our listing about our vacation condo for rent on Hilton Head Island SC. We cannot figure out what we are doing wrong.

  8. Hello,
I have sent you a couple posts about an advertiser as recent as Sunday, 5/9 advertising under "drivers". they use mostly all caps for TRANSPORTERS..etc....they are a complete scam. I was duped by them for $900.00 in one day..yes I know..bad mistake....do a search on goggle for the 818 number..think it is a sprint cell phone..same number i called..you will see many others have been scammed by these scumbags. why do you continue allowing them advertise with you..you need proof, i have plenty of prooof..it really upsets me that you still allow them to advertise.....
    thank you.

  10. I've been trying to contact Backpage. For 3 days, never get an email verification and no one is helping me to resolve the issue. Is Backpage still up and running?

  12. Your site would be easier to navigate if your cities were under the state heading rather than alphabetical by city.

  13. How do you contact an advertiser when they have not included their e-mail address?

  14. Why can't I post. I keep getting an error code.

  15. I cannot post adds or reply. It says "Oops there was a problem with the security code". I got an email saying there was an issue with adds being placed on blackberrys, I'm not on blackberry.

  17. I am having the same problem as bonnie..

I am having a very serious issue with BP, regarding my paid advertising (I've spent an upwards of $300 that has gone to waste) and what I feel I can prove are deliberate deletions of my ads, without notice and very unfairly directed at me and *not applied equally* to others, at all.

I have sent SEVERAL emails to BP with ZERO response and without any phone number to contact anyone in charge over the individual doing this, I have found no choice but to post here hoping for a legitimate response with a contact number for someone who is willing to hear me out, view the evidence, and without blowing me off, be willing to honestly look into the situation and help me resolve this issue.

My email was required to post this, so I will be awaiting your response or that of someone you forward my info to for resolution.

    Thank You.

  19. Backpage has refused to stop placing an ad listing Southwest Airlines Grenn Passes $185. This SCAMMER has taken so much money from innocent people and Backpage REFUSES to stop these ads that the scumbag places on backpage in every major city. Something has got to be done.
